As it is I am Running through Starlit Rain So much void around me is made plain And clear as day I can see it The sudden clarity brings tears to my eyes Even in the void created inside all of us by the world around me and you There lies a hush A silence Serenity Even in pain Even in fear Even in Anger Even in despair There inlies a choice A spark igniting the world around us As it is The choice Will this define me The definition is yours to decide Will it consume me If that is what you wish Will I never know Peace As it is The peace we wish for will never exist Unless It already dwells within us As it is We define who we are We chose the path We hold the spark We decide whether or not to let it glow To ignite the Fire To show us the way We choose the path As it is We must break Free Allow ourselves to see the stars in void To find Beauty in all we experience It is up to You To choose the path To find hope ...

Raise me up like a mountain, strong and standing tall. So others can depend and lean on me without fail. Make me free like a storm, raging and beautiful. So I can nourish, and inspire all those around me. Feed me like a fire, fierce, burning, bright, and warm. So that I may be a guiding torch against the darkness. Grow me as a cherry tree, ever flowering, calm, and serene. So I can share wisdom, beauty, and peace with all who need it. Enlighten me with stars and shine me in the darkest hours. So then I can give the children hope, wonder, and brighten the lives of all who see me, even in the night. Teach me how to smile easily like rushing stream, bright even as I flow ever down. So others can laugh and grin a little easier near me, and I can give happiness to everyone who needs it. Most of all, let me be where I need to be, when I need to be, as the best I can be. So my heart can reach another's heart, and I can continue to learn. And when I am ready...

Shimmering stars glowing at dusk. This is a place not just any can enter. Morning sunlight in a pond made so bright. A world created of heart-felt laughter and delight. Afternoon sky streams through a flower petal canopy. Here days are made of hope and wonder. Evening blushes over an endless sea of clouds. This world is without ending or beginning. Gently sunset falls, peacefully colored as the warm fires hearth. My inner peace. May you find yours.

Flames coat the land. We used to be free of the smoke, ash and soot. Before we kill ourselves with greed. Some tried to warn us, but none listened. Now bombs coat the land in radio-active hatred. The people fought for change, but the fight only caused more bloodshed. Knowing all this, a girl hides in her home, reaching towards her fading hope. She doesn’t notice the plane as she reaches into the light of her mind’s eye, Towards the family she misses. The bomb hits the gound.
